The accomodation offered everything we needed, the host Mitko, his wife and mother were very friendly and helpful, they make extraordinary food in their restaurant, all fresh and of high quality. We will be back again!"

We really can not think of anything we did not like.

"What a great surprise this find is, staying with a local community and eating the traditional food ,only 25mins walk to a private beach and 10min walk to the ash fields . Here the rumble of the mountain like its a distant thunder storm. The kids will show you around with great enthusiasm. And all being close to the volcano and hot springs and the hosts will arrange any other activities and transports needed , This is the real deal don't miss out . "Getting keys from the wall safe was easy. The place itself was lovely and quiet. Comfortable beds. Good heating. Nice small kitchen. Two bathrooms, one en-suite. Cosy living room. Good range of channels on the TV. Plus you are only a 10 minute walk from the Minster and old town, and only 20 minutes walk from the train station."

Going home. Can't think of anything.

"Lovely location and grounds. Pedro was friendly and gave us great advice for where to eat. The facilities were just what we needed. Secure parking. Lucky the dog was lovely too!"

The one thing that was missing was a sharp knife to peel oranges.

The host was very helpful and kind allowed us to check in earlier, which was wonderful after a very early flight. I definitely recommend it — my family and I had a great time."

"Lovely area, close to a river walk and around 10 minutes walk to the centre of Buncrana. Lidl and Aldi are a 2-minute drive away. The apartment had everything we needed. Very cosy and clean. The host had kindly left us wheaten bread and some milk. A lovely lady ❤️"

"Exceptionnel !! Franchement rien à dire du côté de l'appartement. Tout était propre, le linge de lit, les serviettes. Un grand bravo. On a pu profiter du balcon pour le petit déjeuner, vraiment super!! 👍"

Seul petit bémol, pas du tout de commerce à proximité. Et si en plus vous n'êtes pas véhiculé sachez qu'il n'y a pas de bus en bas de la résidence où même quelques pas plus loin. Pour le premier jour, le papa du propriétaire qui était véhiculé nous a emmener jusqu'à une supérette. Un grand merci pour ce Monsieur. Qu'Allah le récompense pour son aide si précieuse. Le deuxième jour, pour le pain et viennoiseries, j'ai pris mon courage à deux mains. Heureusement, je suis une bonne randonneuse ce qui.n'est pas le cas de ma fille qui est restée bien tranquillement à m'attendre. La veinarde !! Malgré ce petit inconvénient, j'ai passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement que je RECOMMANDE VIVEMENT pour les marcheurs.

That Booking.com is proposing a property which is not available before April 2026. By doing so, I could have ended up on the island of Bequia on a Sunday night with nowhere to sleep.

Everything was ok

"Facility was extremely nice, high ceilings with crown molding made it feel bigger than it actually was. Decor was very nice, and there were amenities aplenty. Huge balcony facing the Gulf. It felt like we were staying in our own ready-made home, complete with old Bible with plenty of notes :-)"

Refrigerator was very nice and modern, but the ice machine put out ice with mold on it. We checked the ice tray itself, and the ice was fine, so guessing the dispenser was to blame. The jacuzzi jets, as well, blew out particles of mold, some significant, when engaged. We did not see this in the tub until after the water had been drained. We did not let these factors detract from the overall experience, but, but mold is a pretty major thing that we'd suggest checking more often. Be aware that the check-in instructions you get from your booking agency may not reflect actual conditions/requirements, but this is not a problem with the host.
