Set in a very pleasant square with a number of good restaurants, well-located for the historic centre and the destinations up the valley. 30 minute pleasant walk to the cable car."

The neighbors in the neighborhood are also very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more pleasant. The garden and outdoor space are just perfect. There is also a dining hall and a fully equipped kitchen that we used for a barbecue, plus bathrooms available on the ground floor near the kitchen and dining area. "Nos gustó lo espacioso, nuevo y limpio que era el apartamento.Vistas desde dormitorio a la Pagoda Shwedagon. Estuvimos 4 noches cómo en casa, limpieza diaria además con gimnasio en el edificio y destacar la amabilidad de la chica de recepción, nos dejó salir más tarde al tener bus nocturno. Es una pena que no vayan los turistas !!!"

"Very nice apartment in a quiet place with a beautiful view of nature with good air, good instructions on how to get to the apartment, very convenient with an electric lock with a code. Nearby is the Moldovan embassy, two steps away (for those who care). I recommend!"

"A small hostel-style place. It's located on a fair distance to public transports, restaurants, shops, as well as the beach. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We liked the style of the whole place. Unfortuneately, we had a bad experience one of the nights with another guest, but this had nothing to do with the hosts or the hostel itself, and the hosts were quick to act and made sure that guest had to leave the next day. The hosts even offered us to compensate us, even if the incident wasn't their fault at all. So a big thank you to host Layla and her husband!"

The area around the hostel can be considered a bit rough. Otherwise I have no complaints at all - as I said, the incident had nothing to do with the hostel itself and the host acted very professional to prevent it from happening again.

"We love the area, close to the ocean, the view is fantastic. We lived in Trou deau Douce 25 years ago at Valmarin. It was wonderful to be back and these apartments has so much potential, but unfortunately it’s not taking care of. The cleaning lady was very kind."

The apartments weren’t cleaned when we arrived. The underfloor apartment was full of black mold. The pool is not taking care of. No sunbeds. You could easily do a quick renovation, do some painting and take care of these apartments and it would be wonderful. Now we love this area and has lot of friends in Trou deau Douce so we wanted to stay there. We had no contact with the owners, they didn’t answer us, but the housekeeper/cleaning lady was nice and answered, she come and clean when we asked for it.

"It is a very special location. The large rock pool is absolutely unique. Great for swimming and looking at coral fish. We have never seen this at any other place we stayed."

"מיקום מעולה, במרכז, קרוב להכל, אתרים, מסעדות בתי קפה בשפע והכל במרחקי הליכה, אין צורך בתחבורה ציבורית. הדירה מאוד נקייה ונעימה, שני חדרים וסלון ושני חדרי ושרותים, מטבחון יעיל, החלפת מגבות והוספת תה/קפה/סוכר בכל יום, דירה מרווחת מאוד."

מזרונים ישנים ולא נוחים, כיבוי החימום בלילה למרות שהטמפרטורה בחוץ מינוס 8 ואפילו מינוס 10 כך שהדירה בלילה קרה. לעומת זאת חמה ביום אך ביום טיילנו, זרם המים במקלחות יחסית חלש אך יש מים חמים תמיד.
